Right you are Captain! The Wallachia region in Moravia is probably my favourite part of the Czech Republic, and Stramberk is my favourite town. Have you ever been to the village of Guty south of Cesky Tesin to see the wooden church there? It's part of the historical region with a large Polish minority, I'm interested in visiting Guty to research the architectural connections of the church with the wooden churches of south-eastern Poland.
I've never been to Guty, but I'd like to make a long cycle trip through that part of the country this year, so will certainly make a point of seeking out the wooden church.
And keep an eye out for the results of your research here?
That's the skansen in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, in the Wallachia region of the Czech Republic. One of my favourite daytrips out from Olomouc.
