Here is another picture of a location in Eastern Europe, do you know the names of the two lakes shown here? Perhaps I should give you a small hint, the peak of the mountain I was standing on to take the picture forms part of the border between two countries.
My guesses for the two countries are Poland and Slovakia, but I don't know the name of the lakes.
ReplyDeleteHi Captain,
ReplyDeleteYes you're right, this is a spot along the Polish/Slovak border, the two lakes are on the Polish side. The peak they sit under is Poland's highest, Mt. Rysy.
Definitely and Only Vysoke Tatry
ReplyDeleteUsing Google Maps I believe I've found the lakes - Czarny Staw(Black Lake) and Morskie Oko.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct John, the lakes are Czarny Staw and Morskie Oko in the Polish part of the Tatra Mountains. A fantastic view from the summit!
